Digital Imaging Process

At Patio Umbrella Source, we develop photographic quality images using Mimaki Engineering Industrial printers, and plotters. We apply your logo directly on 100% solution dyed Acrylics with a maximum 1440dpi resolution. Your logo, graphic design or photograph will stand out with vibrant colors. We can apply 1 color or multi-color digital graphics.

The fabrics come with a 5 year warranty against fading, mildew, rot and damage from atmospheric chemicals. The attached image was printed using a JV33-160SP with a solvent based ink on 3M IJ180 film.

The film is transferred to the fabric via a vacuum heat compression system that bonds the image to the canvas for bold and stunning images that are also durable.

We prefer a vectorized EPS or Adobe Illustrator (AI) file but will accept other formats (GIF, JPG, PSD, etc).

Logo printing costs are based on the colors you need printed (monotone or full color) and at a per panel charge based on the entire order. A panel is defined as the area between the ribs, extending down to the valance. Prices vary depending on the entire number of panels ordered. No minimum order quantity.

To ensure your satisfaction, we will provide a proof for your approval. We will send a mockup (usually a JPEG file of a 2 dimensional umbrella) with your logo printed on it.

Logos typically cover 10-25% of the panel they are printed on. Oversized logos may incur additional fees. Text copy can also be printed.
